It was easy to park, the room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Good selection at breakfast and lovely meal at the restaurant. Amazed at the housekeeping as I had hung up a notice that stopped them cleaning the room as they went by, we then showered and left the room to go out and took off the notice and when we returned that evening the room had been cleaned, which showed attention to detail. Reception staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful even if some guests seem to expect everything for no cost.

Stayed at the hilton excel london with my daughter , staff were freindly and accommodation, and even allowed us to stay an extra hour ( at no extra cost) on departure day. They've got all the basics right, cleanliness , breakfast ( lots of choice) a shower that actually works ( not spending ages adjusting the temperature) and a large screen tv with enough channels ( good picture quality) which was very welcome to unwind after a long day on our feet round London. Would definitely choose double hilton again .

Great location close to the Excel centre and just a 15 min walk from the nearest underground station. Hotel is beside the marina so some nice views. Its also close to London City Airport but you wouldn't know if for the excellent sound isolation within the rooms. Spacious size rooms, for London. Nice dining room with views of the marina and of planes taking off. Good selection of beers/ales on draft for a hotel. Nice food from either the restaurant or the bar menus. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful.

Room size was great, the Queen triple room was super for 6 of us (3 kids) and hotel arranged opposite rooms which made things so easy. Also very helpful when you call the hotel and personalise your booking if you are traveling with family. I will stay here again for sure.
